Maybe I missed it, but didn't see this discussed here.  Brad's going to be making handles for Lee.  Wonder if this will alleviate supply problems?

Looking forward to receiving my order. The last brush I received from Brad I consider to be the finest in my den. I expect that this collaboration will yield the very highest quality brushes out there.

I wasn't aware of this.  Thank you for posting. Hopefully this will facilitate the process for getting an M&F brush.

I'm excited about it.  Brad has a great selection on his site of his own handles and traditional M&F shapes with very clear lead times communicated on each page.  When I bought my Gonzo Manchurian (which is a fine brush BTW!) from him it was a great transaction start to finish with easy communication and pictures before he asked for payment so I only see positive things coming from this collaboration.  I ordered a few last night and already got a response from Brad!  Communication and sourcing a new M&F problem solved!

This is pretty cool, but I'm not sure the handle would be the bottleneck of Lee's production.

I hope I didn't order 6 brushes.
Blush

Had a hard time getting past the firewall at work and ended up on my smartphone placing my order.

I thought I would never have the opportunity to get a M&F brush. I see he's offering the knots in a lot of his own handles as well.

Exciting times!

Thanks for the heads up.

After reading this thread I placed an order.  I received an email acknowledging my order within minutes and giving me an order number.  It's nice to get an immediate confirmation that your order went through.  It's great that one can select a bulb or fan knot, in Blonde or Finest.  Interestingly, the price of Blonde and Finest is the same.  Now we have to wait to see how this new collaboration plays out.  I'm curious as to whether and how the handles will reflect that this is a joint project between Brad and M&F.

I am incredibly excited. Given the time taken, I should have purchased 2 brushes, but 1 will do for now. Can't wait to get my hand on the Lapis 2XL

Yeah, bit on this one as well. Man, if I ever want to get my SBAD under control I gotta quit checking out this forum... Luckily I like my SBAD where it is.  Biggrin

I might have been the first on that side of the pond to get one of the colab brushes.
I asked for he shape, chose the handle material etc, this was full custom brush. Lee got the specks of the knot exactly as I wanted them.

Great knot great handle great everything.

OK i bit on this too, but quick question... Seeing as I live in the UK would the brush get shipped directly from Lee when the knot has been set in the handle, or would the brush travel all the way back to the States first only to get shipped back here again?

This is pretty amazing. I love how it's opening another door of opportunity for M&F brushes to get into hands of more people. And I love how more artisans from the community are getting to work with Lee.
