Is this just me, or is anyone else comically irritated by the latest Sprint commercial that takes place in a barbershop?  The older white-haired barber (who doesn't speak) is standing there supposedly lathering with a brush in a lathering bowl...  what he is actually doing (unbeknownst to him) is irritating the crap outta me!!!  LOL.

see for yourself >>>

Huh Huh Dodgy Dodgy Wink

Haha!  He certainly doesn't have a clue as to what he is doing!  Dabbing at a puck does not a lather make!

Yes, I noticed that faux pas. You'd think a guy of his generation would have a clue.

Actually saw that commercial a few times and it also irritated me. That's one way to keep a brush looking new!

He's rubbing his dry brush in who knows what. It has been bugging me too!!!

The most irritating thing to me is the WAX on blades. I CAN'T STAND WAX ON BLADES.

Ok I got that out of me =P

That is so funny.  I too noticed the poor barber and thought to myself, " if sprint coverage is as good as that lather maker, count me out."  That is awesome! And yes, I found myself peeved.  Hahaha.

Hadn't seen that commercial before... but yes, now I'm annoyed, and I'm left wondering, why did the director add that character in  with that prop and who was he trying to attract? Random generic "man types"? Boo! Boo!

I've seen it a few times too. I understood it was nothing more than a prop to be seen only in the background. It didn't bother me at all. I just smiled. I don't think they're worried about complete fidelity to the act of loading a shaving brush. I can hear the producer saying something like "OK folks lets do it again from the top. Old Barber, just keep wiggling that brush in the bowl. Beard guy, don't look at the camera, look to your right. Take 15. Action!"

Kind of funny when I think about it.  Interesting how the Verizon guy is now the Sprint guy.

The commercial has played a number of times with me in the same room, but I just go to another place mentally when commercials come on.
