This is from another shaving forum (UK). This razor is called the "Rocca" and suppose to be released end of month. The head looks redesigned. It will come in different handle options and the head will also come in a DLC coating with matching handle. Reminds me of the JET from 2013'.  In addition Muhle will offer matching brushes one of which will allow you to change the knot by unscrewing it.

This head appears to be a new design

The newly developed geometry of the stainless steel hob from the Rocca series promises an even smoother shave with an extremely thorough result. The blade slides tightly over the skin, resulting in a faster and even more effective shave, more beard hair can be removed with only one line. In contrast to the old classic razors, MÜHLE deliberately refrains from the opening on the underside of the planer and accentuates the linear design of the series. "

That birch one is really cool. I always like to use products that evoke their country of origin. It almost makes me feel like I'm there... like when you are reading a good book. These are distinctly German looking to me.

Connaught Shaving Supplies out of the UK was a stockest for Muhle but no longer carries that brand. Will be on the watch.

I have high hopes for this razor. I always thought if the EJ/Muhle head was made of stainless steel, it would dominant the market. I realize it has different geometry than the standard head, but I bet it will offer quite a nice shave.

Looks great, they usually know what they do at Mühle, so expect it to perform greatly.

Not a DE user anymore, but I can still get excited  Biggrin

It does look nice - and I like the options for matching handles/brushes.  But, like you I've been waiting for the Muhles and Merkurs to upgrade to stainless versions - my personal idyllic version being a stainless Progress XL.
