I find the SE 2 and the Rx equally efficient with a Feather Artist Club Pro. If I had to make a distinction, I get a little more 'blade feel' with the Rx than the SE 2, and much more than the SE 1. I prefer the look and feel in the hand of the Rx. I got the SEs with the Bamboo handle, and I found that if I replace it with a heavier, more stout handle, I enjoy the shave more.

A very good and close shave. I was scared but the razor is smooth if you use the proper angle.

I must admit, I have been quite negligent with perhaps my favorite razor in my shave den, and the best safety razor I own between DE's and SE's. And that's my Rx. I decided to get an early morning shave today and wanted to pair it up with a Schick Proline blade. And all I will say is WOW! I will get this out of the way first. Regardless of the blade I choose, whether a Feather Pro, Kai Captain or Pink Mild, the Rx delivers in spades. In smoothness, efficiency, duration and in quality of shave there are few that can match it this side of a straight razor.

Now enter the Proline. It fits very well in the blade tabs and lines up perfectly. And what a smooth shaving blade with the Rx. As sharp as a Pro, but smoother and more forgiving. I guess that's another one that can be kept in the arsenal for the Rx. Longevity on face smoothness with any blade in the Rx is phenomenal. Only other razor that gives me this type of longevity are my straights. I shaved this morning at about 5am. It's now 6:10p.m. EST. And just barely feel anything, couple of whiskers starting to come through. I was faceturbating all day at work and just loved the feel.

Anyhow, I just wanted to mention that the Schick Proline worked beautifully in the Rx. And sometimes, at least for me I can get so involved in trying the newest and latest greatest thing to come out that I forget that there is hardware in my possession that's just as good, if not better than anything else I'm wanting to acquire. For I too like many suffer from RAD. I love trying new things, especially razors and there have been many good and great ones that I have added since acquiring my Rx a few months ago. But, todays shave proved to me a simple but solemn truth. Back in February 2017, I had acquired the best safety razor that I'd ever shaved with. Period.

That would be nice if you could. I purchased mine overseas from a Japanese website. 2 weeks for delivery although it was very economical. $36 for 3 packs of Schick P-30's shipped. They are for sale here in the states, but at double the cost, almost $20 per pack from a vendor in NYC. Good luck Phil, hope you get them....
