Hi guys. Anyone tried the Nivea Sensitive skin shaving cream in tube. Looking at ingredients  it surprisingly didn't contain bad ingredients. I think it may work for my sensitive skin. It was 4 bucks a tube so I'm not out big money and its available local. Will test shave later tonight and post my thoughts.

Wow where you located? It's discontinued in the USA as far as I know.

I had to go to Canada to find some.

Yes great cream. Dollar for donuts the best out there and my go to third step defunker (after dawn and williams) for overnight treatment.

It a great cream, and much better than many soaps too! I've heard that it's getting discontinued in the US.

Well I live in Canada. Its a German made cream correct?

Very promising news.

On a side note. I can't edit my location in my profile. Why?

It works very well.  The scent might not be for everyone, but it doesn't stick around.  I use it in a super lather with soaps that don't smell that great since a tiny drop of this will kill the smell of anything else you combine it with.

I quite enjoyed today's face and head shave using this particular cream. Busted out the trusty 28mm thater silvertip and bowl lathered it.

Very nice stuff and left my skin without that dry feeling many soaps do. My skin didn't get irritated either. I see this in my rotation.

Scott.

I use it sometimes. I think it performs well. I was able to get it on Amazon. I couldn't find it anywhere else. I like the scent, but it's a little strong. It smells similar to the aftershave, bit it's stronger.

These are stupid cheap in Germany (like €1.25 a tube at Mueller), wish I'd grabbed a couple!

I have some Nivea Mild.. a pretty good cream, even if somewhat indifferent as far as the scent goes.

The sensitive version is not and never has been available in Germany. The German one you are talking about is different. It contains silicon for example.

Let me make this suggestion to you.  I have been using Nivea Post Shave Balm for several years.  It cost $5.95 at Target and it is one of the best after shave balms I have used including ones that cost $50-$70.  Al of Nivea's products are made in Germany by company named Beiersdorf.  I called their customer service/relations once and they actually asked if I wanted a sample tube of their shaving cream for free.  I declined.  However, you may want to call them and see if there is some way you can purchase it from them.  I looked on their U.S. website before I wrote this reply and did not see it.  Give them a call 800-227-4703.  Let the blog know if you are successful.

Though I'm not sure, check Walmart. I could swear that I saw it in a Walmart store in Tucson, AZ about 8 months ago before we moved here (South Carolina).

As a follow up.  I called the 800 number and inquired about the product and was told that the shaving cream was discontinued to the U.S. in March of this year and she had no Idea how Amazon received their inventory.  I tried.

This and the Regular Nivea shaving cream are widely available here. Both are very nice products, affordable too. I always liked the Nivea scents. A friend of mine that I introduced into wetshaving uses these products almost exclusively. I just rarely use creams, I prefer using soaps.

Yes, also very easily available in Spain, where it retails under EUR 1.50. At that price point, hard to imagine a better performing cream. It lathers at eye contact, provides fairly good protection and leaves the skin moisturized and with the feeling it has been well taken care of, for what my inexperienced opinion matters. I find the scent being almost nonexistent, but definitely great bang for the buck. Didn't know it does not sell in the US.

these are easy to find in the middle east as they are marketed there. Should be easy to find.

I bought a tube about 3 years ago in a CVS (maybe a Rite Aid?) store. Used it twice and just couldn't get past the scent. It was waaaay too powerful for my nose/brain.
