I currently prefer big, bulb shaped brushes. They must have backbone and soft tips. I enjoy my Polo 10 Super, Polo 12 Best, Thater 4125/4. I already have a Kent BK 8 and 12. I like them both, but a bit floppy. I also have a Plisson HMW #20, as well as a #12. These are just a few from my collection. I am thinking about a Manchurian Chubby 3, or a Thater 4125/6. Would welcome suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I appreciate the help. The 4296/6 looks a little small for what I want. Now that you've explained that the 4125/6 is a difficult get, I will have to find it. Some people have real issues in their lives, not me.

Contact Bernd about getting a 30mm 'unique' Bulb knot. This should be something you'll like. It is a denser version of the regular Silvertip 2-Band offerings he has, so you'll have very good backbone with extremely soft tips.

These twoBoth of them are 28mm two band Manchurian knots. Here is the bulb knot in wet condition
A lot of brushes clump like that when wet. That does not necessarily indicate gel tips. I bet it's the water creating adhesion and cohesion with the hair. When I think of gel tips, I think of extremely hooked tips. The brushes pictured above may have those qualities, hard to tell from the far away shots but that last pic is not a good representation of gel tips.

Shavemac would be a good choice. You can pick between the silvertip 2-band or the D01 2-band, choose your handle, and set the loft to whatever height you prefer. The silvertip 2-band is superb, and I find the D01 2-band to be quite similar to Simpson Manchurian. However, the largest knot on the Shavemac website is 30mm. If you want something larger, contact Bernd and he may be able to accommodate you.
My biggest brush is a Bob Quinn custom with a knot measuring 32mm+ at the top of the handle. It has one of Bob's premium Manchurian White knots. The brush is actually slightly larger than a Chubby 3. I did a thread about this brush here:

I normally prefer brushes in the 26-28mm range, but this giant is such a great performer that it's staying in my den.

You can get the Thater 4125/6 or any other available Thater from this German site:

They have it listed as 3-band (290 EUR) and 2-band (333 EUR) with both the black and the white handle...
