Hello, my name is Thomas. I have been wet shaving for a while now. I notice many people I know on here from other forums, so Hello to all.
As my name indicates, I enjoy straight razor shaving. Of course, with my schedule these days, it seems that I am DE shaving more than SR shaving lately.
I enjoy using a couple of dovo straights, a thiers-issard, a couple of wostenholms, wade and butchers, and an 8/8 hart steel SR. I prefer using 6/8 and larger blades.
My favorite DE razors include a couple of gillette fatboys, a gillette flair tip, an Edwin Jagger Laser cut, a maggard m5, and a stirling soaps slant.
I enjoy quite a few soaps and scents. My top companies are Stirling, Barrister and Mann, Mama bear soaps, Caties Bubbles, Truefitt and Hill, Taylor of Old Bond Street, and Martin de Candre.
I have quite a few aftershaves, but I really enjoy pinaud, stirling, lucky tiger, proraso white balm, floid, musgo real, fine platinum, aqua velva, and myrsol.
I own around a few hundred soaps and I have tried even more, so I am pretty versed in what is out there, but I am always searching for great new methods, products, and info.
Thank you for having me here.
