I grew up with a father who loved golf, and much of my ill spent youth was spent cutting school and heading for the golf course to compete with my friends. I had a reasonably good amateur record, but two tours in Vietnam squelched any hopes of turning pro. I just turned 70 and only infrequently can shoot my age, but most of the time I'm try to shoot my Username, EVNPAR. Please describe the meaning of your username.

Well...before the internet, kids used to play these things called "board games".
I'm not joking! They'd move stylized pieces across a cardboard surface... hahaha!
One of my favorite board games was STRATEGO. Its online version (at ItsYourTurn.com) was SABOTAGE. I found it when I first discovered the internet...back when you had to know HTML code if you wanted a web page.
Anyway, a prominent piece in this game was the SABOTEUR. I was quite good at this game so I selected SABOTEUR as my username. The "w" tacked on the end is the first letter of my last name (Washington).
Hard to believe I've carried this username (or just "SABOTEUR") for more than 20 years.

OldDog links to my love of the wonderful 4 legged critters that have been my life's main obsession,
and the simple fact that I myself, am one damn old dog. 23 is 10-code for "arrived on scene", currently occupying my
allotted few cubic feet of space on the material plane, waiting in the checkout line for the Big Shaving Den in the Sky.

I got my username from a Soviet composer named Boris Vladimirovich Asafiev. He wrote a Sonata for trumpet and piano in 1939. I performed that piece as an undergraduate and enjoyed the challenge and personality of the piece. So... when looking for a username in college I used the name of one of my favorite composer's at that time period in my life.

CHSeifert - I did try to ask the moderators to change my username to VikignShaver a couple of years ago, but they said it would be too complicated to move all my posts and transfer it all to a new user account, so instead they were kind enough to add VikingShaver just under my username, and I still appreciate that gesture highly
My first name is Claus
Middle name is Henrik
Last name is Seifert

BMX racing is the only sport that holds my interest. Most of my adult life I was teased that it was a "kiddie hobby." But it's now in the Olympics and more awesome to watch than ever. I don't get to participate nearly enough anymore. Partly because of not being close to a track, partly because it REALLY hurts a lot longer when I crash!

My first name is James ( I go by Jim)
My last name is Robson
At the time I joined, I thought that I was the 5th James Robson.
A conversation with my uncle at my brothers wedding, informed me that I'm closer to #10 but I would have to do some digging to find out.
I might do that one day.
