Claus' thread about B&M Seville Soap reminded me that I do not have a barbershop scented soap in my meager inventory. Though I do not want a large inventory of soaps, I do want to have a 'barbershop' on hand for those days when a remembrance of my youth is called for. In AS, I have Pinaud Clubman which reminds my scent memory of the shop I patronized as a boy.
From Claus' thread, B&M Seville in the Glissant base sounds like a good choice, but what do you gents like and why? I know there's a huge number available and it's extremely subjective, but I'm 'all ears'!

In addition to the other fine recommendations above, I'd add
Boellis 1924 (it's NOT Marzipan like Cella)
Klar Seifen Classic
Le Pere Lucien LE tallow
Floris #89 cream.
While not traditional "barbershop" like Pinaud Clubman, they are each outstanding soaps with traditional gentleman's scents in the barbershop style. Boellis & Floris are actually European Barbershop scents.

That's my favorite barbershop right now. I also liked his CAD but the ClubGuy is just special.
A friend of mine is a hard core Pinaud lover. He has everything from the aftershaves to the talc powder and hair tonics. He smelled Club Guy and was loving it.

I want one, problem is PAA stuff is usually more expensive. I'll try updating my WTB again, if no show, I'll go and get one directly from them.
It is really good. Bright, powdery and yet still classic and manly. My only contender for my favorite scent, AdP.
