How is everyone finding the L&L grooming products? I got in a tub a few days ago and immediately realized this is the top product in my den. The scents are to my liking and the lather shaves very well. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience with this wonderful soap. Harmony was my first tub and I currently have dark fall and tsm fougere en route. I plan on adding the entire line to my collection in the near future if the other scents are as nicely done as my first tub. I'm also impressed this gent is going to offer hand tied knots.

I recently tried Fougère based upon some of the reviews, just received Harmony and Marshlands, and Dark Fall is on the way. It's a top tier soap and performs very well. The trick will be finding scents to your liking. So far, I haven't found one that I would use on a regular basis, although I'll probably keep them because of the performance.

I had a feeling they were niche per say, i don't find many regular soaps on the market to really hit that extraordinary scent profile but many more do so these days from the like's of B&M and now L&L. I have a local store that I stop in that's been around for many years , every time i walk in I'm taken by the aroma of all the incense and essential oils. Harmony nailed it and it instantly was tops in my den. i have very high hopes for dark fall , we shall see but I'm excited.

Eric
I used it this morning and did enjoy the scent of incense. Although I only swirled for about 30", I had loaded too much soap and will have to back off next time. The performance of these soaps is impressive.

I have recently ordered a few soaps from the "newer" artisans, and I must say L&L is the one that surprised me in that it was the only one of those newer ones I tried that lived up to the positive comments.
I found the performance to be superior to many other soaps, and L&L is quickly finding a spot in my rotation. I have tried Marshlands and Trismegistus, and enjoyed both scents tremendously and now I have the TSM Fougere on the way. Presentation is average and prices are on the high end of the scale for me when it comes to taking a chance on a new artisan, but thankfully it turned out to be well-worth it IMO. The formula is definitely unique in that it uses Bison Tallow and does not contain coconut oil, plus it contains a number of other goodies such as avocado oil, mango seed butter, and sea buckthorn to name a few.
Overall, I was very impressed with L&L and will be keeping an eye on this artisan

I just shaved with Darkfall a few minutes ago. To me it's a very dark scent (no pun intended), and the first thing that caught my nose was the scent of burning leaves. Reminded me of my childhood when my neighbor would like to burn her leaves at 7am and I would wake up to that scent. I also got a little sweet and spicy from the cinnamon and clove. The performance is outstanding. I lathered for my normal 20 seconds and when I pulled my brush away I got about 3 inches from the container and I had spider webs made of an elmer's glue like consistency. Which is how I like my lather. Very thick and gleaming. The residual slickness was also very good. After each pass I usually splash on a healthy dose of h20 and rub it around and tonight my face felt great and was still very slick. Overall I'm extremely impressed. I also purchased Harmony which is on my list for tomorrow's shave.

Dark fall blew me away, the aromatic scent of burning leaves is present without any of the harsh smoky smell you would associate with that type of scent. The rest of the scent components are balanced so well and this is not a difficult scent to wear. I may need to purchase another bottle from the next release as this one is going to be getting some use,
