I am a little concerned that the badge on the bottom appears to be just s sticker.  Is this correct?

Inset coin type label with adhesive.

They will be 26mm diameter knots. I have not measured the loft but, Harald knows what he is doing. They should be arriving in a week or two and when they do, I'll measure the loft.

Phil, my TSN 2017 LE Bulb is patient and knows his brother will arrive soon.  All good things take time.  Cool

I know that a lot of people love this brush but I feel the same way I sold mine because it was scritchy

OMG….thats just gorgeous….I don't care for bulbs so was rejoicing at money saved but this has wrecked my gains.

Ha! I know the feeling well.

And I DO care for bulbs.

Beautiful brushes Phil.

I found this thread last week and was surprised to see them still for sale. I ended up buying one as I have been looking for a yellow beehive with two band bulb. Very specific, but I’ve wanted a beehive since the Varlet brushes were announced, my daughters favorite color is yellow, and I already have two fan shaped two band brushes.

This is a big brush. It's nominally 26 x 55 but I measured it at 28mm outside the handle. Perfect knot as expected from a German brush. Soft tips with strong backbone so you can get scrub if you push down harder.

My first shavemac brush was a 26x58 two band bulb so this knot is familiar. The shorter loft controls the knot a bit, not quite as fluffy or big.

Anyways it's a great knot and looking forward to using the brush. Makes for a nice contrast against my fans and smaller silvertip bulb.

Strange. I had thought I posted a comment. I had this brush for a time, and I found it to be soft and was what I would consider to be gel tips. It's an excellent brush with a well controlled knot without being excessively large.

I’m interested in this brush but having a hard time deciding between the two knot shapes. There are lots of comments about the bulb in this thread, but not as many for the fan. I’m assuming this is just because it was offered later. Can anyone comment on their thoughts between the two?
