Wahl Micro Groomsman $13-$20

Compact, quiet, more importantly no pulling whatsoever ime. Just cuts clean, pretty simple. Scissors seem clunky to me and would appear to take extra effort to cut down to the base though I certainly could be wrong about that.

The BullGoose Groom Mate Platinum is great.  It is not so great for ear hair, IMO, but does the nose right!

I have had a GroomMate SS for quite a while and it works well for me.
After seeing a Post on the Hoffritz (Page 1 on this thread) I bought a used one on ebay (Original version, made in Germany) for about $13 a few months ago. You have to be careful,
or it will 'pull' your hairs.

My wife recently bought a Wahl Micro GroomsMan (as in Post #21) and I have used it a couple of times. I was surprised that it worked rather well (fast, efficient, NO hair tugging).
A lot better than the other battery powered trimmers that I bought years ago. (I think they were mostly a 'rotary design', the GroomsMan has more of a 'shear design' like a larger trimmer).
It is also easy to get into your nose and ear, since it has a very 'thin' head (the head that it comes attached with, havn't tried the other heads.
My wife bought it to trim the rear of her neckline. It does this well also.

I use a Merkur clipette. It's not electric so it worked in the four months without power after hurricane Maria.

I stick a pair of hair scissors up my nose and rotate around the inner wall.  Works like a charm.

No, I am not kidding.

I use these for trimming everything from moustache, goatee, beard, nose hair, eyebrows, etc.
