Just a quick note -the Evolution is progressing nicely. I talked to the machine shop on Wednesday. If everything goes smoothly, I should have a stainless steel prototype in about two weeks.

Depends on your perspective. Biggrin  I think we started this project last February. That said, it was on the back burner while we worked on the Rx. I agree that things moved pretty quickly from CAD model to prototype.

Nice jig too... maybe it's partly my background, but I tend to make judgements on a machinist based on what his jigs looks like, and that one looks as good as the razor Smile

How do you shave with that metal box....seems very heavy and has no handle to attach the blade....am I missing something?

The "metal box" is the jig - the tool to hold the parts of the head in place while they are being machined. The actual razor is in three pieces in front of the jig.
