Would such a razor be feasible, or desirable? Just thinking outloud.

DE Slant razors are known for their efficiency, less passes, closer shaves etc.

SE razors that take AC type blades are already very efficient, at least most of them, so I think there is no need for a slant design. Also, SE blades are very hard and can't create the angle that a Slant head needs to have the proper efficiency and accuracy.

SE blades already have the rigidity that DE lacks. I'm not sure you could even configure a slant razor that bends an SE blade. An SE razor that just holds the blade at angle would not make sense to me as you can control that with any razor.

Well, we won't know for sure unless someone makes one.

I contacted a razor maker about creating a DE-FAC.  The head would have 2 FAC blades in a setup like a DE (one razor on each side of the head).

There were non-torques, diagonal SE slants in the past. A similar razor using a Feather AC-blade is therefore very much feasible. Getting a torqued version may prove a challenge.

I'm skeptical based on the nature of these SE blades.  They are thicker, and less 'malleable' in terms of twisting.  Also, I don't think there would be any benefit; Feather AC blades are superb as is i.e I see no need for further contortions.

hard to twist SE blade, so I doubt there will ever be a slant for them

I agree.

You can try the Gillette slide with any SE razor I think.
