I have used Stirling oatmeal bar soap and love it for both hair and body in the shower. Who else makes a great bar of oatmeal soap?

I just got a sample of the Sterling soap you used, and although I have not tried it yet, it smells great.  Glad to hear you liked it!

I love the Stirling bath soaps, I have not tried or recieved a sample of the oatmeal soap... going to be in my next Stirling order now though!

It surprises me how few shave soap companies produce bar soap. I'm no sapontification expert, but It seems like it would only require a bit of recipe/ingredient tweaking to harden it up for bars.

I think Queen Charlotte Soaps has an oatmeal soap.
Stirling bath soaps are nice but haven't tried the oatmeal, in fact the only oatmeal soap I've used is Yardley and I didn't care for it much because of the exfoliating effect of the oatmeal.

Shaving soap and bar soap are very different, despite using the same basic ingredients (oils/fats and lye).   It takes time to develop a satisfactory formula.  Some of us started out making bar soap and added shaving soap to our lines.  The companies that specialize in shaving soap may have started there and find it to be enough.

I make an oatmeal, milk and honey bath soap, a tea tree oatmeal soap, a lavender/shea/goat milk/oatmeal soap, and a sifted oatmeal soap called Gentle Oatmeal that makes a good facial bar.

The Tea Tree Oatmeal and the Gentle Oatmeal from Mystic Water are excellent.  Additionally, Saponifico Varesino makes a Honey and Grain Scrub Soap with oatmeal which is quite nice.

Yardley. You can find it for $1 or so at Wally World and other places. Really good, IMO.

Sudsy Soapery makes bar soaps.

CRSW offered bar soap, briefly, last year. Maybe it will return, in the future.

I make my own.  Plenty of oatmeal and a nice superfat makes for a really nice bar.
