I had to share because I love them so much. I just received the pair of C&S dishes.
They are so beautifully crafted and they house the world's best soap (IMO).
Excuse mine and the iPhone's incompetence at good photography Smile
The unwrapping process...

At the top of the heap, where they belong!

Some of you might recall (or not) I've owned these before and sold them. This is true. But now I am truly READY for them, and I can say I have earned the right to own these, as I've tried so many different products and finally nailed down what I love most: Czech & Speake and all Valobra made hard soaps. Just phenomenal performance. They've been in business a very long time and I hope they will be staying around even longer!
When I bought them the first time, that was when I was just buying EVERYTHING and so I felt I needed to have these, as well. But when you are just buying everything, you don't stop to admire and learn about what you're accumulating (at least, not me).
This time, I can actually say I bought these dishes bc the soap is the best and it deserves to be housed in the best container.

Thanks for letting me air. Just happy to have found my ideal soaps, and they just so happen to have a couple of the most beautiful (if not the very most beautiful) housing containers on the market.
Thanks Phil for always stocking the best products.

I love Volobra based soaps as well. O&C might be the best one I have tried.

Congratulations on the pair.

Matt, I agree with you 100%. These are fantastic soaps and I don't think there is anything better. It's hard to imagine how good these dishes really are until you hold one and realize how heavy they are and see the craftsmanship. I know that some people don't like the scent of No. 88, but I'm hooked on it, and it's my favorite scent, and O&C is my favorite lavender. I do enjoy trying and using many other soaps, but if I could only have one, it would probably be C&S. Congratulations.

I love the looks of those too. Wish I can find a good deal on the dish.

Matt, these are the most exquisitely made soap dishes I have ever seen and owned. I use to have the Black Annodized one and it photographed, beautifully! Enjoy! Thumbsup
A word of warning, don't take them outside and set them on stone or bricks as they'll scratch, fairly easily. Smile

Haha, thanks Celestino! I made the commitment to keep them very nice, by drying them after use so they don't get watermarks.

I agree, a scratch on black metal would be very apparent.

But what were you doing with it outside?? Smile

Johnny, I actually forgot to mention that I use to own the Travel size dish for the No. 88, as well.
Looks like I might have to add that back, along with the O&C. Don't leave home without it!

Celestino, you are one the few guys on this forum, that actually buys your gear depending on how well they will do in front of the camera  Biggrin

Corey, you are too kind with your words and there are quite a few gentlemen who take much better photos than I. Shy

Claus, I would be happy with two razors and three brushes, really. However, the art-form takes precedence, at the moment, as it brings me as much joy as shaving. Biggrin

Congratulations on your re-acquisition of these fine soaps and dishes.  I have both and the #88 in travel size and believe they are some of the best
soaps I have ever used.

I've lusted after these dishes for many years and 88 is one of my favourite scents and best performing soaps.  I crumbled when a 20% Black Friday came along.   Biggrin
