Looking for a sandlewood soap or cream that don't have the cologne smell like TOBS and SJoL. I've got CRSW but it's smell is not strong to me.

Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

CRSW.
EDIT: Whoops should have read more closely. Oddly my wife comments on the strength of CRSW, at least compared to Proraso

Proraso has a nice scent, crsw is my favorite but you mention it isn't as strong as you would like. AOS is a more cologne type sandalwood but it's scent is very strong. I wish Lee still offered his sandalwood soap with the brushes as that was a nice soap and the scent was very pleasant as well.

Not in my opinion.

DR Harris Sandalwood is not a straight up sandalwood, but it's not a ruined sandalwoof like IMHP the much beloved TOBS Sandalwood and TF&H Sandalwood is.
You still get the natural elements of the wood in the DR Harris Sandalwood IMHO

While I own both the TOBS and TF&H Sandlawood, both these to my nose are ruined sandalwood scents.

Regarding the St. James - I don't feel you can add this to this thread, since it's called Sandalwood & Bergamot, not a straight up Sandalwood, thus very much indicating it indeed is a cologne type of scent, which I happen to love and it reminds me a bit of TOBS Jermyn Street, if you know that.

The others you address in this thread all are called just Sandalwood. Nothing else. Thus they should smell like sandalwood, and not the medicinal cologne mess the TOBS Sandalwood in my opinion smell like (Yes, I own it, as I said, but I'm not that big a fan, same with TF&H Sandalwood, which I also own - not a fan either, but I own the entire line of the 3 T's and all DR Harris for collection purpose)

While the GFT is not a straight up Sandalwood, it's a far more well balanced sandalwood than the TOBS and the TF&H in my opinion.

Always forget the Klar Seifen Sandalwood, I own it (Own all 5 Klar Seifen soaps), and it's a very nice scent and GREAT shaving soap.

Fine is supposed to be extremely close to AOS sandalwood.

Probably shouldn't say this, but I really like Simpsons Sandalwood Cream. Mark threw in a jar of it in a brush swap we did last year. Works great; smells great.

My favourite sandalwood scent is Mühle sandalwood in either soap or cream.

You can also try Semogue sandalwood artisan shaving soap, it is also nice.

Its not a strong sandalwood but the Proraso red (sandalwood) has a great scent. I don't have the matching splash, but from what I have heard its great too.
