I work for a large company (~15 000 employees) with many different divisions. 1/4 to 1/3 of us have been using a new computer program for close to a year.

Yesterday, our IT group sent a email survey to allemployees@mycompany.ca, instead of the usergroup@mycompany.ca email that they have been using to give updates on this software.

Many have replied some variation of "I don't use this program. Please remove me from this list." These emails are separated by the occasional " Please Do Not Reply All."

As I was clearing my inbox for the third time.... One email caught my eye....

I do use the program and it is awesome!!!!

This guy made my day.

Thanks for reading.

My company uses Outlook, and maybe it's just me but I feel I have to deliberately reply to all vs just a simple reply which seems much easier. It's hard for me to imagine this as a "common" mistake now, yet it still happens...at least once a week I can expect to be copied on an email that my group has nothing to do with. At least we now have a recall feature...

The best part is when you change groups, you never get taken off the old one. I've been there 10 years now so I guess I'm always up to date on what every one of my old groups is doing Tongue
