The site is suddenly growing crazy on me. First it doesn't show my post, then it does (each time I hit the post button), then, when I leave that thread and go back to it, my post isn't there. Also, the original forum thread doesn't show that I've read everything and, again, my post is gone. Too crazy.

Hi Freddy

Posting here to confirm you're not going mad, alone in currently experiencing "strange" behaviour on the site...

At this time I'm having to "force load" (Ctrl+F5) pages to make the site behave somewhat normally.

Take care, Mike

I'm making some changes to the site to optimize it so that may be why you're experiencing some problems.

Freddy, try clearing out your browsers cache and cookies.

Try clearing your cache and cookies and let me know if the problem still persists.

It's still pretty messed up Andrew. Just posted a reply to Dave's interview with Richard Mason (Tradere Razors) and it looks like it posted but when I go back to look, it's not there.

When I click on the arrow to go to the last unread post I'm taken to the beginning of the thread. This strangeness (poltergeist, anyone?) started a few hours ago. I did as you suggested and cleared the cache and cookies. When you have suggested that in the past for other problems it always seemed to work. Not this time, at least not yet. Sad

for me, i can post a reply, it shows my reply, but the "loading" screen still is on the screen and stays there until i hit F5 or forward/back on my browswer.

i think it happens on my work PC, which runs IE and Windows XP

Interesting, I went to shave... (tab was closed for Shave Nook)

came back after about an hour or so... opened a new tab, and I don't seem to be experiencing the same problems as earlier

that could be part of the problem.

I've been making some changes to the site over the past few days to optimize the sites load times and if you're caching old files, it could be causing you problems.

Andrew, since coming back to the computer, it seems to be working fine, without clearing cache and cookies again. I'm not sure what happened but all seems well now. Thanks. Smile

What browser is this forum optimized for? I run Safari 6.0 on OSX 10.8, and it works wonderfully.

Good Morning Andrew!

I noticed that this Forum *button* is not immediately displaying the new status once selected

... I have to either hit F5/refresh, or go to another topic/comeback, and then it will mark the Forum as read

refresh the page, they should work as normal now. I forgot to reapply an edit last night after making a change.
