The aftershaves that last the longest for me are generally the musky ones I don't like, like Original Old Spice, I swear I can still smell it the next day before my shower... I get maybe 4-5 hours out of my Stirling Lemon Chill aftershave splash. I shave for work on days at 0400 I apply my aftershave and run the excess on my hands through my hair on the sides of my head. I have had people comment up to about 0900 that they "like my cologne" when they walk into my security post.

I've only used samples, but 2 Fine aftershaves stand out to me.

Santal-Absolut & Platinum

Both behaved more like EdT, lasting all day.  Could actually still detect them the next morning.

Some may use it as one, but it's an EDC with an actual EDT strength.

I own it and use it for what it was intended for, worn as a perfume.

Now you can use what ever you want for an after shave - feel free to do it, but does not change the fact, that Alt Innsbruck is a fragrance and not an after shave.

I say, use what after shave you like, forget about how long it lasts.

Use a fragrance, if you want day lasting longevity.

I have tried many aftershaves and without any doubt the longest lasting is Pashana.  I still pick up the fragrance after 8-10 hours.

Yes, The Stallion lasts a very long time. Also Fine's splashes. No. 1 is Tabac. You can smell it all day long.

In my den it's Trumper's Spanish leather.  I have to use this sparingly and match it well with my scents as it stays with me forever!  Great stuff.

Ive never come across an aftershave lotion that lasts.

Probably better to spray on a nice barber shop-like frag like Creed Bois du Portugal.

One of the finest scents from this house and lasts well over 12 hours on me.

Clause, as usual is correct about its strength but its make up must be slightly different an edt or edc to be able to use it as an aftershave. Im basing this on advice from a rep of various fragrance brands to department stores that i knew 40 years ago and my own personal experiments. I strongly advise against trying to use a fragrance of edc or stronger as an aftershave. Do NOT apply said fragrances to a recently shaved face.
It is unpleasant. YMMV of course, but I believe you'd find yourself on the same stretch of road.
