*SOLD*
Up for sale is a nice cased Gillette NEW (flat bottom) travel set.

All original, head stamped "Made in England".  Some plate loss on the razor in places and the case has some paint loss and rust spots.  But threads are intact and strong and all teeth are straight.
The only thing I'm looking to trade for is a Declaration Brushworks 27mm Jefferson.
Otherwise, buyers are requested to use Paypal. My prices include US/UK shipping and Paypal fees.
Please post questions below, but please PM with any trade offers. If my prices are out of bounds, public ridicule is encouraged Biggrin

Asking for what I paid, $50 USD or £40 GBP.

The new deluxe has a flat bottom but is not
What we refer to by flat bottom. The new short and log combs have a coat hanger profile and are not flat bottom. The English flat bottom new (this) and the raised flat bottom new are the distinctive ones. There are sub variants with different top caps, which differ by the width and spacing of the top cap blade alignment ribs.

I prefer it. It's both efficient and not bitey. Honestly, you can get good shaves out of a lot of things, but I own two of these if that's any indication at all.

Thanks guys.  Yeah the NEW is quite possibly the best razor Gillette ever made in terms of efficiency.  Not 'bitey' at all but will clear away weeks-worth of beard with little effort, or could be a daily-driver equally well.  I have several NEW variants, this one just doesn't get used.
Anyway, the razor is now under offer and sold pending funds.
