I was presented a Chubby at retirement ended up being a bit of a shedder. Just received box from Mark at Simpsons with New Chubby2, my old one, and Tin of Shaving cream. Simpsons sometimes takes a little flak here for being handmade and knot variance ect. but their Customer Service is first rate. Buy a Simpson Brush with confidence. They have a customer for life. Thanks Mark.

Yes, I agree completely. Mark recently replaced a brush of mine that developed a crack in the handle. His responsiveness was quick, friendly and generous. I am definitely going to purchase another Simpson's shave brush. At the moment, I'm just not sure which one it will be.

Mark is great to work with.  Yesterday I bought a CH2 manchurian.  I emailed Mark to express my interest.  He said that they had no more in stock.  He quickly emailed again and said he may have one left.  He searched his cabinet and found one.  Great service.

Mark's great.  Always responsive and whenever I've bought from him 100% upfront with every aspect of the brush and what I could/couldn't get.  If I were a little richer I'd be buying from him more often Tongue

I have recently made the decision to switch all my brushes over to Simpson and will start collecting brushes as much as I can throughout Simpson's brush production era's. Honestly I stepped away from Simpson for a while mainly to explore and see everything for myself. When I first got involved with wet shaving I bought four brushes and these were my first four brushes ever purchased. A CH3 in super , a duke 2 in best , a polo 8 in two band labeled super , and a wee Scott in best. All of those brushes were superb and I can't remember if any of them lost a single hair as long as I had them. Incredibly soft and the build quality absolutely stood out. I'm proud to say that I am brushless at the moment but have a wee Scott on its way to me. I'll be placing a few orders with Mark in the coming future to get Simpson brushes back in my den.

I haven't had the need to contact Mark in a couple of years, but I always found him to be most accommodating, whether it be recommending a new brush or picking out the best of the lot. Great guy. Hard to find service like that these days.

+1  Thankfully, I've never owned a Simpson brush that has developed a later issue, but Mark is always prompt in replying to any email, and more than willing to try and fulfill a specific request. A dying breed, unfortunately.
