I feel so bad for you folks across the pond. We are so lucky in the US.

I agree - it's a drag - but it is what it is ...

The US cousins have issues trying to get stuff from the UK too! No alcohol in the post and high postage costs ...

We need more wet shavers over here so that it becomes feasible for more UK retailers to stock a wider range of products.

As long as you pay the shipping I'll do it for you. It's no big deal.

We can PM the details.

At least on this side of the pond, there is a $100.00 per day customs exemption.

I try to be cognizant of the fact that UK people have that 15 GBP limit.

We're incredibly lucky in Australia, as any overseas purchases less than $1,000AUD don't attract any taxes.

As a consequence, our postal service is copping a beating at the moment!

I have never suffered an import tax here in the U.S. Has anyone in the States had to pay such a tax?

I haven't. Our laws are obviously different at the moment. There's no such thing as anything given for free. That's all I can say; you either understand or you don't.
