I have found, that I like both vegan and tallow based shaving soaps, but I have a tendency to get a better post shave feel from tallow based soaps, so I prefer them during the winter, and the vegan soaps more in the summer.

What are your personal favourite tallow based shaving soaps at the moment ?
Which gives you the best post shave feel ?

Mine are:

Cold River Soap Works v2
Barrister & Mann Glissant
Haslinger
Mike's Natural
Phoenix & Beau
LPL Tallow
AOS Tallow
Czech & Speak
Valobra Tallow
Cella Brick
Tabac
DR Harris

One is missing ?
M.W.F. - gives me a fantastic post shave feel, but still demands more work for me to lather, than all my other soaps.

Vegan soaps, that gives me a nice post shave feel, but not quite the same great post shave feel as my tallow favourites:

I Coloniali
Klar Seifen
Tabula Rasa
Caties Bubbles Lux
Sapo Varesino
LPL (except the LPL Tallow)
Panacream Nuavia
SDM
Wickham 1912

Let me hear your picks !

For tallow, I'd say Tallow and Steel is the best I've used so far, CRSW is pretty close too.

You really should try Midnight & Two and Sudsy Soapery, I get the best shave and post shave feel from those two.

Claus, are you satisfied with the overall performance and presentation of the P&B soaps? I'm asking because, while the performance is very good yet not the best, some of the soaps you mentioned are better performing ones, their packages are flimsy, soft plastic made, not to mention the problems with the scent and the fact that they are extremely soft.
About the Haslingers, they're excellent soaps and quite affordable, at least here in Europe, but I couldn't stand the cheap overpowering scents and sold my backups and gave those that I had in my rotation to friends.

Every soap on your list that I have tried is top notch, Claus. If I would pick only one, it would be Haslinger.

I love all of T+S's stuff. And his collaborations with Chatillon Lux for customs and group-buys made him rookie of the year/top soap artisan of 2016 in my book.

To answer the question, I will post my best and the only one that I would buy again.

Cold River Soap Works

Best tallow soap available.

I wish I could sell all the others I have and replace them with Larry's soaps. My only problem is the very expensive shipping, otherwise I would have his entire line of soaps.

P&B quite flimsy bottom is  not my absolute favourite presentation, but it's good enough for me to keep them, and I like their label design, and the lids are just fine.

I had Paul from Connaught ship me a couple of extra's to overcome my disappointment with the first couple P&B's I got.
I own all the P&B soaps now, and they just give me great shaves, which is why I kept them.

I never smelled the amonia scent you did in any of 10-11 soaps from P&B I have owned.
They are quite soft, so blooming them is unnecessary, just like with most of my Caties old formulas.

I have owned 6 different Haslinger soaps, and all have had a quite mild faint scent to them, certainly not a strong one.
Before I realized how good Haslinger soaps were, I also gave 8-10 away, I got them for free with all the Shavemac brushes I bought from Bernd.

Now I know Haslinger is fantastic, so I don't give them away anymore.

I own the Meerealegen, Sandalwood, Coconut and the Sheepmilk. All 4 have nice pleasant scents to them. Not overpowering at all.

It's probably the most fun soap to lather, it just explodes into a thick lather in no time.
