Gents, a quick question.

I have a tub of 2014 Razorock XXX, and I love the scent.  I have no idea how close it is to the original scented AdP, but it's reasonably strong and one of my favorites.

The problem: in terms of performance, XXX is for me a B+ and I'm trying to narrow down my soaps to A's.

I have Stirling Piacenza and the performance is very good but the scent is not the same as XXX.

Of the AdP Colonia scented soaps available, which ones do you feel have the best scent?  Best performance?

The ones I'm aware of are: Saponificio Varesino, Mickey Lee Soaps, Caties Bubbles (this may be discontinued/limited)...

What say ye?

I know the Parma for Catie's Bubble's won't be around much longer. But if you want to treat yourself to a wonderful and strong scent, get COLONIA by SV from Phil. The performance should give great slickness and very soft post shave to your skin.

CB Parma is to my nose a very good replica of AdP Colonia. I have not tried Piacenza or Asylum though.

Alvarez Gomez shaving cream is what you are looking for, if you want the Colonia scent. The cream itself is more of a croap in it's consistency - a lot like XPEC actually. Off topic, but if you like Colonia scented creams try Baume.Be.

I will regret asking this question that will make me look silly, but when you guys say Colonia? You mean AdP scented right? At least that is my assumption.

Or is there a scent category that is classified as Colonia? As in Fougere, Chypre etc?
