- when you order a soap, check your "box in the basement" and discover you already have one.

- when you order another puck of AoS sandalwood tallow so you don't run out and discover you already have two in reserve.

Man, oh man.  I've got to update my inventory.

What triggers the thought that you may have too much?

When I hear about that soap variety that really isn't new anymore is discontinued and I haven't even tried the puck I bought when it was the new...

When I see people calling a certain tub color or shape the vintage version but that's what my bought when new stash looks like...

When I hear something is being brought back due to high demand and I still have some in the cupboard. I didn't know it had been off the market because I don't keep my ear to the pulse of the soap world day in and day out...

One can never have too much of a discontinued product, get all the AoS tallow you care to right now because who knows when it'll be gone.

Every time I spend 10 minutes deciding which soap I'm going to shave with that day. Then turn around and email Manuel to ask him what soaps and balms are currently available.  Facepalm

- when I am looking in the window of Pasteur Pharmacy and hoping that I don't see any new arrivals!

- when my wife points to my razors or brushes and asks which one I like the best and I cannot give an answer.

- when I no longer give a damn whether or not Lab Blues and Med Preps are the same blade.

- when I try to write wetshaving jokes rather than getting some sleep!

- when I start posting nasty threads in order to intentionally get myself banned from shaving websites.

- when I no longer care that Lee Sabini ignores my emails.

-when all of a sudden I lost interest in buying new soaps

-when I have ready 2 boxfuls of things I could just throw out the window and never think about again… then turn around and put together another box of stuff from my shelf and throw that out the window (and never think about those either)

-when I have a box full of Coate's creams (a BIG box, like 16x16x16 inches), and I never use any of them (even though they're GREAT)

-when you actually have to wash your soap containers free from dust, prior to using them

-when you look at your brushes, and can't remember if you have used it......ever before

-when you open your huge 5 way drawer to use one of your 600+ fragrances, and can't remember if you have ever used that, yes that fragrance hiding in the back of drawer 3....

- When you don't know which one to use.

Lol this is my problem. If you give me too much choices, I take forever to make a decision.

You realize that every drawer in your dresser is filled with shaving hardware/software and that all of your clothes are packed neatly in cardboard boxes.

When I loan a puck to someone to try, and they give it back to me a week later and I've forgotten loaning it to them.
