Scents are so up to the individual, but based on performance, what beats Nuavia?  I love it and have found close, but nothing equal.  B&M Glissant comes close, for example.

Only 3 soaps for me perform better than the Nuavias.

These are the following:
  • CRSW v.2
  • I Coloniali
  • Savon de Volcans
Simply amazing soaps.

To me the following give me just as nice a shave as Nuavia

Santa Maria Novella V.3 (Actually I find this superior to Nuavia or any other soap that I have tried)
B&M Glissant
iColoniali
Shannon Soaps
Sapone di Paolo
Stirling
CRSW Oliva and V2

I used to like Cella, it's a great performing Italian product and the first soap( or croap) I ever used, but I can't stand the marzipan scent anymore.

Hmm.  I have tried some of those mentioned.  I do agree about Glissant.  I do not agree about iColoniali, Stirling, and CRSW v2.  I know some of you guys posted over on the Jabonman thread.  How does it fair against Nuavia?

Try the Pure2O offerings. They don't beat Nuavia for me, but their different soap base could make them perform better for some. The DFS scent is another great one. I think it was actually in the running to become Verde. When it didn't get selected as a Nuavia scent it became the DFS scent.

Another great one to try and get your hands on, though it is difficult, is Bufflehead.

I admire how you placed Stirling in your list.

I have the blue and green.  I love them both but Schafmilch provides such a great slick protective shave and also has a wonderful post shave feel/moisturizing.  I liken Schafmilch to MWF only it's super easy to lather.

Very interesting.  I actually plan to pick up this soap next to give it a try.  This makes me excited.

It is a very lovely soap, but I much prefer tallow-based ones, so there are quite a few of these soaps that I prefer to it.
However, if they offered refills, instead of selling it in the coffret, it would be in my rotation as I really enjoy the scents of the Blu and Rossa.

I know what you mean about the refills.  Not having them is a big disappointment.

If they offered refills, I'd buy the tub.
