I'm VERY open to scents, but Myrsol 1919 still smells like dusty old rotten flower water to my nose.
I now use my 235 ml EDC 1919 as Toilet 'fresher', but not sure it actually even works at that

Still use the 1919 after shave, because I want to understand it, but by far the worst AS scent among my after shaves for sure.

i just love the 1919  Smile

Oh c'mon now.
Fine fresh vetiver: inspired by Tom Ford grey vetiver
Fine L'Orange noir: inspired by terre d'hermes

Both excellent, both very close to the EDTs

And I'd add the rest of their aftershaves. Fine did a fine job on all of them.

For me it has to be Pinaud Clubman. To me it smells like cheap marijuana in the bottom of a high school gym locker. Maybe my nose is broken though since I have several of the myrsol aftershaves and enjoy all of them(1919 included)

I'm going with odd in the non-perjorative sense, since most of my aftershaves smell odd to me, but I like them. Kind of like a pretty girl with a crocked tooth, it just makes them that much more endearing.

Of my collection, the only one that isn't at all odd to me is Proraso Red, it literally smells to me like the archetypical aftershave, but boy it fades way too fast.

On the other hand, Proraso Green, now that's an odd scent, I like it, great face feel, but being a guy who grew up on Old Spice and English Leather, that just smells odd, but I like it.

Then there is Floid, maybe the Blue isn't that odd, but the others, lovely Spanish odd, and Myrsol even more so, it's the odd that fascinates, though I still haven't had the Balsmica click for me.

So I guess my point is, for me, most aftershaves smell odd. Smile

Another odd scent: The Beach AS from PAA. It smells exactly like, uh, the beach.

As a Teen I loved Royal Copenhagen, bought some ~4 years ago and utterly disliked it... had to roll in some dog dung to get rid of the smell... second on my list of nostalgia fails was a revisit of British Sterling/ current version, my Dad's favorite pretty gross but the Royal still took the top/ bottom spot!!!  Canoe was still pretty good in it's current form, not quite as long lasting.

Castle Forbes's Cedarwood scent. It is a great performing aftershave, but the scent reminds me of a hamster cage.

Another for Pashana,  which may have been recently rebranded as Jack Dean. This smells like stale urine.

Interesting. First time I have ever heard Clubman so described. Not to my nose.

Interesting.. I was considering getting the AS since it was suppose to be similar to a ADP dupe.

I like it, but I can see someone's internal olefactory organ to brain to identification process veering in that direction with it. Totally
