Probably the most bought AS currently on the market.

Smells like dirty bar rag. I didn't walk to the trash can. I ran.

...oh, so it smells like New York....  Haha

Quote:Pashana smells like an orthodox church. Incense at its worst.

Now that brings back memories of being the sole altar boy ensconced in 4 layers of vestments plus pants and dress shirt at the readings of the Passion Gospels during a record heat wave holding the thurible for 5 straight hours as mass was sung in Greek, Russian and English....

That's pretty rude to say.

Was just joking at a stereotypical NY view.  No offense intended.

Seriously, Santal 33 has been around and become ubiquitous but the scent is really take it or leave it "different".  Despite being lukewarm to it, almost compelled to purchase but it is truly out there

I tried Pashana Eau de Cologne "Esprit" thinking it was meant to be used an aftershave, but could not detect any smell other than a vaguely Vitalis-like sting.  Then I read the bottle: "for hair and skin." I guess they meant scalp.  Anyway, that one was weird smelling.

I now know there is a Pashana Aftershave.

Dark Harbor produced by Brooklyn Bay Rum is a very fleeting scent, but it is true steeped bay rum.  I expected it to be darker and more long-lasting, but then again, it has no synthetic ingredients.  Everything is a trade-off, and it depends what you're looking for.

Oleo Shaveworks "Smoke on the Water" Aftershave Splash -- a limited edition for Pasteur Pharmacy -- is overpowering and gives off a gunpowder or tar note.  I can see how some people would love it, though...those drawn to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, for example.

I like the smell and feel of Pinaud Clubman, even if it is largely synthetic (like most fragrances today).  It also has the ability to transport me back to when I was hanging out in the candy store on the corner of Church and Utica Avenues in Brooklyn.  All the men seemed to be wearing it.

I like B&M and am not saying this derogatorily:

Night Music is one of the oddest smelling aftershaves I have ever smelled up unto this point.

I'm VERY open to scents, but Myrsol 1919 still smells like dusty old rotten flower water to my nose.
I now use my 235 ml EDC 1919 as Toilet 'fresher', but not sure it actually even works at that

Still use the 1919 after shave, because I want to understand it, but by far the worst AS scent among my after shaves for sure.

i just love the 1919  Smile
totally agree.  Myrsol 1919 don Miguel.  ugh unfit for my great big face
