Good morning, All! Just a quick note to let you know that we've re-opened our on-line store to new orders. http://bit.ly/2h228a9

So everyone knows: we're going to try to keep the store open ("tough it out," if you will) in the hope that the flow of orders will settle down to a manageable level. In the interim, do know that we appreciate your patronage--and patience!  Although it's impossible to predict lead times right now, do know that we're doing our best to deliver your brushes as quickly as we can.

In that regard, we have an issue with two handle shipments (out of eight) currently tied-up in U.K. Customs. It's apparently a random thing, but know we're doing everything we can to prod the bureaucracy into action.

I hope to post a couple in a day or two.  The thing is:  since we have a lot of orders to fill, I made an "executive" decision to let Nancy, my wife handle shipping and direct communication (which entails a LOT of time-consuming detail work.)  That way, I can maximize productive shop time.  That said:  we're trying to make our processes more efficient in order to get your brushes to you as soon as possible.  So if you've received an invoice and want to see a photo before paying, just let Nancy know and she'll be happy to send you a quick iPhone shot.  What this does is cut out at least three steps: (1) taking and processing photos of every brush, (2) composing and sending an email with attached photo for approval and (3) your having to write a response saying "Wow!  That's terrific!" before we can get around to sending the invoice.

We realize this is a different approach from what we've taken in the past.  We hope this meets with your approval.

Ha, it's the ivory and Jade brush pictured above in Brad's post, but I will post pictures of it in the wild soon.

Despite the low loft, ~50mm, this knot has plenty of compliance and feels very soft. Looking forward to tonight's shave.
