Wow!  Looking at that handle upside down's making me dizzy!  Tongue  But that said:  we do expect some new resin colors--in addition to the much-awaited Lime and Lemondrop(!)--to arrive over the next few days.

Have a great day, Gentlemen!

The curves are very nice. Good balance and proportions!

Just read that BSSW will now only sell complete brushes. I think this is an excellent decision for QA reasons, and so that when you see an M&F branded brush from this generation, you'll know it's one of Brad's handles and Lee's knots.

Good afternoon, All.

I see that Michael beat me to the punch Smile .  And that's OK.  Following is the full policy announcement.  As always, your thoughts are welcome.

We've recently seen an increase in requests to either purchase our brush handles without a knot--or for us to set knots from other makers into our handles. Although we have usually honored these requests in the past, our business has grown to the point where the wet shaving community has come to expect certain aesthetic and performance characteristics from our brushes.

We believe that maintaining these unique characteristics is vital to retaining the distinctiveness of the Morris & Forndran and BSSW brands.  For that reason, we have changed our policy to sell only complete shaving brushes under the Morris & Forndran and BSSW names.

We are honored by the enthusiastic response our shaving brushes have received from the wet shaving community. Know also that we will continually strive to maintain the artistic quality and performance standards you have come to expect of us.

I completely understand this move (as well as the previous migration towards deposits). The brushes coming out of BSSW & M&F are very special indeed.

Thank you, Ricardo! It is my lucky 3XL finest in briar. This iteration of briar is my most favorite. I used to have a couple of Simpson's Chubbies in briar, but their handles were not even half as beautiful as this one.

You got lucky on the rod stock used for your brush!   There can be a wide variation in briar, and yours is particularly nice.

Good Afternoon, Gentlemen!  I wanted to let you know that we've made two updates to our shaving brush offerings:

First, we've just added five new resins to our Resin Inventory. These include Purple Haze, Zebra, Caramel Stripe, Leopard, and some really wild orange and black Tiger stripe--all of which can be seen at http://bit.ly/Rod_Inventory

Secondly, we now offer the 30mm "Stubby" shaving brush. Sometimes called the "3-ring 3XL," The Stubby" is actually a slightly elongated 3XL (by 2mm.) What makes this handle interesting is that it borrows the elevated concave curve from the Emillion. These two seemingly minor variations make the Stubby a bit easier to hold for those of us with larger hands. Although shown with one of our new 2-band Silvertips for photography purposes, the Stubby is available in both Morris & Forndran and BSSW variants. http://bit.ly/The_Stubby

Thanks again for everyone's support!
