Beautiful paragon arrived with overnight delivery. FedEx and SV does great job to deliver the goods from Italy to NJ.

Brush specs:
30mm knot
53 mm loft

Guys , when I first open the box , the knot and badger quality reminded me wiborg white knot. Almost identical characteristics of badger and knot formation. The badger also reminded me Varlet. Very soft and white .Back to SV paragon, the badger is white and soft . The knot is dense . Good backbone similar to wiborg. The backbone little soft compare to Simpson which is expected due the badger difference. The backbone is in lined with wiborg and few other brands.

The touch of the knot on the face is very soft and gentle.
For those who doesn't like hard scrub this is your brush:-).
Overall very impressed with the brush. Surely will give me some change of pace as I like soft delicate brush to massage my face.
No hair shed during first "rough" bowl lathering , that's always a good sign as I hate when a new brush shed hair. Ergonomics is good. I thought pewter ring will bother me but it didn't . I wished the pewter wasn't on the handle but it's ok as it doesn't bother me anymore.

For those who want to buy wiborg and can't locate Florian, this could be an identical alternative and substitute.

That's a beautiful brush with a lovely wooden handle. I'm interested in reading your thoughts after using it for a while. Enjoy!

Thanks.
I used all the big and reputable brands . I can tell by using it for very first time if the bush is special or not . A brush Journey in which I spent thousands of dollars on brushes helped me identified a special product. At least I can tell what a specific badger had similarities with other brands . This is one special brush!!!!

How much use does this brush get these days? I know you have an affinity for Simpson manchurians.

Thanks for your review originally and your response. I have moved away from 2 band brushes and moreso enjoy a few things about 3 band or silver tip but am always impressed by SV and what they produce.

Unfortunately I slept on the bocote wood and honestly would love to have one but I order a Poplar Cottonwood recently to give the knot a shot. I also grabbed another 2.0 Louro faya.

I am looking forward to seeing if I can enjoy the Paragon for my head shaving.

I think that you will like paragon for head shaving lot . The hair getting soft silky with use and the knot is dense . I really like paragon!!

I have only been using the SV 2.0 brushes as the not is large enough for me already, but I can say I love these brushes (I own two of them). They are among my favorite and are in my weekly rotation.

We will see how I find the knot changes as it breaks in. The Paragon is very large and dense but it already is feeling more on the scrubby side. The 2.0 I have already had another one before and I think that I am already falling back in love with having one again. It feels very soft which isn't my top priority but I love the size of the knot, the shape and how it gives and bends at first pressing on the face.

About to use the 4.3 Felce Aromatica with the Louro Faya 2.0. Really looking forward to revisiting the updated formulation of this scent and feeling the brush after some defunk and cleaning.

WoW
Beautiful brushes. Congratulations.
I wonder how the Felce Aromatica 4.3 feels.
Perfect match for the brush.

You are triggering my SBAD. I used to think this brush to be too large for me. I am not sure of my beliefs anymore...

Really a beautiful brush, I only want to see how that ring fares, hitting the sides of the lathering bowl.

I'd worry more about the bowl than the ring! It's pretty solid

Just ordered the SV 2.0 Faux Horn. Love the look of it and was torn between that and the olive wood.
