Never thought I would ask for help on this topic but I'm hoping to get some suggestions on a uniquely scented or just whatever you guys think is the best Almond scented soap.

The reason I never thought I'd ask is that until recently the only experience I have had with Almond scented soaps was Cella which I absolutely hated. Then recently I was sent a sample of Stone Cottage Almond Flower shave cream which I really do like the scent of, just not a fan of creams. My wife also just bought a few bars of the Yardley Oatmeal & Almond body bars which also has a great scent

So what say you? Any great Almond soaps out there that don't smell like Cella?

We have an almondy-type scent that we call Amaretto. People seem to like it.

DR Harris Almond - a dry nutty less sweet almond
Boellis Panama - my favourite almond, not too sweet.
ABC and Cella are a bit more on sweet side.

DRH Almond soap is for me creamy and slightly vanilla (but not at all sweet, powdery, or feminine). The shave cream is a different scent (marzipan).

If you like to search for vintage and EXCELLENT performance, then C&E Sweet Almond Oil soap all the way. It is the scent of almond tree blossoms. Beautiful. The cream is the same idea, but it does not come across identically. Both are great.

If performance and actual lather are dead last on your list then Trumpers Almond soap is all you. Same scent as the C&E but much stronger, whereas the C&E is more nicely done, IMO. [The cream is again a different scent (marzipan).]

I have never tried Cella or others mentioned here but I do have Razorock's P-160. Smells just like eating marzipan. The scent is strong when sniffing the tube and on the initial lather but subsides quickly. I think it may be quite volatile so it evaporates quickly.

For me, Boellis has the best pure almond scent (followed by ABC).
But the BEST 'unique' almond scent has to be Wickham's "Imperial Tonic" (almond/lavender).  Sadly discontinued.

Antica Barbieria Colla or ABC. I didn't like the scent at first but now live it.

Boellis Panama is another favorite.

Both are excellent performers as well.

All good choices. I also enjoy Vito's Extra super. It's a cherry almond scent, not a marzipan sweet scent.

Boellis Panama is the only almond soap I use, and I have tried most of them.

Unfortunately most almond scented soaps and creams irritate my skin. The only exception is P160 Tipo Morbido. Luckily it has the best almond smell for my nose.

I think Dicken's blows everything along this scent profile away. Although they list it as cherry .

Besides Boellis, I was also a big fan of CRSW Almond...took me by surprise, and I found the scent to be quite lovely. Hope Larry brings this one back at some point in either v2 or Oliva Biggrin

Yeah I bet it would be nice in Oliva! So far I'm leaning a little towards the Dr Harris. ABC and Boellis just a tittle to pricey to risk not liking the scent.

It was always Tipo Duro for me; my one and only for a long while. The current replacements fall short in one way or another -- then again, maybe it's just the P160's mystique.
