I have a silvertip badger brush. I am trying to bowl lather. When I load my brush in the soap, it seems to Stuart making lather as I am loading. What am I doing wrong. I would think loading the brush should create very little lather?

When you bowl lather. It is exactly what it says. The lather forms in the bowl.Next it adhears to the brush and you brush it on your face.
If one face lathers then the lather forms on the face.

It depends on the soap, how wet your brush is, and how long you load. Just make sure you are getting enough product loaded into the brush, and go to the bowl. If you make a little lather on the puck, bring it along. It will feel insulted if you ignore it. Smile

If you're seeing significant lather forming while loading the brush from the puck prior to moving to the bowl, your brush is probably too wet.

Bingo.  But building a little lather while you load isn't too big a deal either, you may just need to load a little longer.
