Hey Gents,

For those fans of NOS/Vintage blades from the golden era of Double Edge blades, these are French Gillette Platinum Plus blades, brand new in sealed dispensers. These shave wonderfully, and are (IMO) smoother than the famed 'Swedes' which were produced a bit later. I get many more shaves out of these than even my favorite modern blades, and the shaves are more comfortable.

I'd like to sell the whole lot together, 36 packs of 10 blades each, 360 blades, $377.10 shipped in the US which includes payment by Paypal and USPS Priority Mail shipping. Happy to discuss other payment methods.

Thanks!

Update:
1pack,10blades,$19.23
2packs,20blades,$33.13

4packs,40blades,$59.52

8packs,80blades,$109.67

18packs,180blades,$219.83
36packs,360blades,$377.10

Super Silver Platinum Plus is the name given in Europe for the blade called Platinum Plus in the US. There is a big difference between 'super silver' and 'super silver platinum plus'. There's a bit more info here: http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread....o-on-these , and in many other similar threads. I posted a photo of one of the blades, and it does say 'Super Silver Platinum Plus' and not 'Super Silver', so it's the one with the Platinum coated edges

I get minimum 5x more shaves out of these than a modern blade, and usually higher. If I want a perfect shave, I reach for one of these.I think it's fair for the quality and rarity, and as someone who loved the formerly available Swedes, these are the best alternative IMO (even better actually since these are smoother). A 5-pack of Swedes is currently listed for $17 shipped. A 10-pack of GPP is currently listed for $20.xx shipped, so these are half that price or better. There are certainly cheaper blades available, that's very true. Cheers

Hey Justin, Merry Christmas!

Maybe instead of a lot sale, sell them by small bunches or an 'as many as you want' option? Shipping will be super cheap and you might make a bit more $$$ than selling the lot. It may take a bit more effort and a bit longer but I bet you'd get frequent purchases. I know I'd buy some.

I love my Personna 74's - I'm sure these are in the same vein

Cheers!

Hey Tone, happy holidays! Sure, I'd prefer to sell them as a lot due to ease, but I can split them up. I took a stab at some math including actual shipping/paypal, and came out with the following:

1pack,10blades,$19.23

2packs,20blades,$33.13
4packs,40blades,$59.52
8packs,80blades,$109.67
18packs,180blades,$219.83
36packs,360blades,$377.10

Personally I find these to be way smoother, and last a lot longer. Polsilver SI are one of my favorite modern blades though, along with the Russian Gillette Platinum in blue/white packaging. NOS blades also have no glue/wax spots like the ones coming out of Russia today. Cheers

Bump. I haven't been keeping up with prices at all, but will do my best to match competing sources. Thanks!
