Hi guys !

I would have swear I already registered some time ago, but seems that no, I didn't... So here I am, amending that.

Not much to say, really. A wet shaver with not much equipment - I like to think I choose wisely  ;-)   I've tried my fair bit of products, but settled for few of them.

My current gear consist of a couple of DE (an old long handle SA "Black Beauty", an equally old Slim, and a modern R89 rose gold), and a couple of brushes (all badger, one Wilkinson pure badger, a ST and a HM from WhippedDog and a limited edition Semogue ST recently acquired). For AS I use Tabula Rasa Cool & Blue and look no further.

For soaps, I am in love with B&M's fragrances, and lathering quality is great too. A bit expensive to have them shipped here, but worth it IMHO. I cannot praise Rhapsody enough. I know there's some hype on this brand but still, I like it and I am happy with that.

My skin is thin but not too sensitive. Gillete Blue or Platinum, and Wilkinson blades - to name a few - all cause me redness and irritation, but BBS results. Green Astra and Bolzano, on the other hand, are winners for me.

I do have a very light beard, and before starting to use classic tools I used to like that fact, shaving weekly. I can recall myself many times reckoning I was lucky. How wrong I was... As such, I am a bowl-latherer, with a vintage black marble bowl and matching brush and razor holder.

Many of us Millennials were introduced to it by our grandparents. I was, at least. I still keep his tools but I do not use them. He had a box full of blades and I have tried a couple of them, not bad considering they were purchased before I was born...

I'd love to learn how to use a straight razor, it's one of those things that scare me, what with me being ham-handed... Maybe a goal for 2017.

I also like perfumes and fragrances, eagerly testing what in writing sounds appealing. While there are many I love, my signature scent for Autumn/Winter is LCM's 51; for Spring/Summer there's nothing like Lacoste's Red (not the L12.12, not the Play)
