I don't, but I'm pretty sure my wife keeps a running track incase she needs it if I give her crap about buying something.

The rule is simple my friend: hold on to that razor!!!

I'm not writing this kind of information down.  With my luck, my wife would find my notes and expect me to elaborate for her.

After 50 years of "shaving" I was determined to have a calmer, more genteel lifestyle. I started off the first of the year with a new Merkur 38C and a sample pack of blades.
I have an Excel sheet going to: track how long various products last, how often I use different things, and their cost. Primarily to help me identify items of superior value in enjoyment as well as cost.
I can already see that my AD will get out of hand very quickly if i keep reading all these threads and going "Wow, that sounds great/fun/special/etc.

Much too much.
I sometimes try to count, but I stop after evaluating what I spent on my brushes.

This may become a significant issue. Mighty difficult to extricate yourself from this situation...

I don't add it up because since I know I am saving money using a straight razor it would scare me to know how much I was spending before.
