I'm looking at a two band finest badger and am considering either the WD high mountain badger in the luna handle or the Razorock finest in the barber handle. I want a large handled brush for this one.

The WD is about $14 more but I like the handle shape better. Just not sure if it's worth the extra money. Can anyone compare the two? Especially when it comes to the knots.

Cant compare the two for you, but I can tell you Larry at Whipped Dog is FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC to deal with and provides top notch customer service beyond anything you could imagine, if that helps sway you.  A WD HMW was one of my first "nicer" badger brushes and it still gets used to this day years later.

I have purchased from Larry before and he is great to deal with. High mountain badger is not the same as high mountain white. I'm just wondering about the difference between these two brushes and if it justifies the cost.

Ah, ok. I'm just looking at the two brushes specified in my original post.

Thanks for your vote. I'm hoping someone who has experience with these two knots will weigh in with a comparison.

I recommend getting the knot drilled an extra 5mm or 10mm. I think it makes for a better brush.

That's not an option if I get the razorock and Larry with whipped dog recommends getting standard depth for the knot I'm looking at. I'm still needing a comparison of the two knots from somebody.
