What's your longest lasting NON-triple milled soap? I ask because I've noticed that Mike's seems to last me much longer than any of my others, CRSW included.

I have to agree with you on Mikes! Great soap and lathers quick and seems hard enough to dissipate nice & slowly. Other similar soaps just don't last as long as mikes. Good observation.

I assume I Coloniali is not triple milled from the surface texture, but it's very hard and lasts a long time. Other soaps I've noted that last are MdC and Castle Forbes, which is a cream. You can bowl lather a pea-size glob of CF and have plenty of suds, about 1/2 gram worth. Considering the jars are 200g you can get a year put of a jar if you're careful with it.

Cheers, Steve

Agreed. Mike's Barbershop was my New Year's Eve shave soap and I was thinking the same thing while loading my brush heavily.

I don't believe MdC is triple milled and it lasts forever (not just due to quantity).

MDC and iColoniali are the most efficient soaps I've used at about 0.7 grams/shave!!! I am not sure if either is triple milled or not

I estimate my usage of I Coloniali to be about 2 grams per shave, one puck lasted me less than 2 months of daily use. Not sure if I'm loading too much. Of the soft soaps I've tried the Beaver Woodwright seems to use the least amount while getting more than enough lather.

I probably don't load as much as most people do. I do 2.5 passes and I like my lather to be more on the thin side for passes 2 & 3. Luckily for me I don't use it exclusively so it should last me a bit longer

MdC soaps, lather in no time with minimal soaps required.

I have to agree with MdC, but besides MdC Mikes does seem to last a long time compared to other artisan softer soaps.

MdC and Sampsons share similar ingredient lists, and they both defy entropy.

Serious?

Complete opposite of my experience, I guess. I find RR soaps to run out quicker than most. My 1 year old MWF that I use pretty regularly seems to be almost untouched.

Same here. One use with them and I'm reminded why I don't use them. Out they go.

I'd say Barrister and Mann (regular, NOT Latha) and Chiseled Face. With both soaps I barely use more than 1g per shave.

Are Palmolive sticks triple milled? I used 0.8g/shave average over a whole stick.

Is it triple milled? If not then I would agree! And in fact I only question if it is triple milled because of how little I was using.
