I'd love to try the brass General when it's released. I'm finding SE razors to my liking.

So far, I have purchased a shaving mug, and, a shaving brush, both handmade.

I plan to settle on one of everything -- one blade, one soap, one balm, etc. -- by the end of this month.

If Proraso turns out to be vegan, I will try their shaving soap, &, cream, but, if not, I think I am finished.

Have you tried Myrsol Emulsion?

Good catch! Those pens are almost unobtanium-- hard to come by. You have a real knack for hunting! Wink. Wish I knew how to pick one up. Wink.

This morning I pulled the trigger on only the fifth brush that I have purchased for my own use since the 1970s.   (But two of the existing four brushes were purchased during the Great Synthetic Breakout of 2014.  No collector am I.)

I was totally intimidated by wreck|fish’s DIY brush project, but I have noticed that when Tom buys a brush for himself, he seems to like the Paladin and various Semogues.  So the rare plunge today was (curtain please):

Semogue S.O.C. two-band badger with the gorgeous cherry wood handle

I now have to wait for The Portuguese Factory to get the brush to me all the way from the Iberian Peninsula; fortunately, three of my previous four brush purchases are still in regular use, so I can stay clean shaven until the Semogue arrives.

On the radar for this year for software are two Aussie artisans which make great stuff.

Australian Private Reserve and Squadron Soaps. I will be investing when my current soap gets low.

Plan to acquire a few (seriously, only a few!) vintage razors during 2017. It will take some doing since I have been self-diagnosed with RAD. That much I am sure of.  Confused
