For those that have tried CRSW Juniper... is it at all like L'Occitane Cade scent? I love that scent.

Another great shave as expected.

This scent when lathered is orange forward rounded out by the subtle wood and vetiver.

Very well balanced.

Cypress arrived today and is up tomorrow morning.  First go will be with new 28mm butterscotch Paladin Falstaff.  Scent is intriguing, and I prefer the new plastic tub to the tins.

I'll give a more detailed report after another couple uses, but right off the bat I'm very impressed!
What type of citrus is most prominent? Is it like a lemon, or orange? Sweet?

You guys are killing me! I'm on a restraint until April and I'm thinking I'll be spending as much money in one day (April 1st) as I would have spent in the 3 months of no purchases.  Facepalm

My first reaction to juniper is not pleasant to my nose should have chose citron I guess would have been a safer option for me. And even tho the new jars are nice (same jars that b&m use) I still prefer the old presentation. We will see how performance goes using it tonight. Also there's no more thank you card that used to be in the old packages not sure why that went away.

I received the new aftershave balms today; crisp, clean, and soothing.
I'm impressed.
By the way, there were no thank you cards included in my parcel; I'm fine.

A question for all you CRSW aficionados: I have a tin of Select v1 in Puro Fresco.  I love the scent, and the post shave is great.  However the lather, while very good, seems to lack a little in the slickness department, at least for me.  I'm considering the new formula.  Can anyone who has tried the new stuff compare it to v1?

Cheers

I felt the v.2 was slicker than v.1, and feel that the new formula is even slicker. I shave with straights, where slickness is very important, and have been very pleased.

In an effort to help the environment we made the decision to go paperless.  This includes omitting the paper receipt, "thank you" cards and envelopes from all orders.

We value each and every customer and understand that people work hard for their money.  That they choose to spend some of it with CRSW is not lost on us and we thank you!

I noticed that the receipt and thank you note were not there.  I didn't attach any significance to it, but your explanation makes sense.
