Good Evening Gents,

Looking for an AS Splash that is comparable to sir irisch moos AS Splash, I was thinking something from the Pitralon line perhaps.

Thanks

Alpa 378 is an AS splash that comes very close to the scent of Irisch Moos. None of the Pitralon splashes have a similar scent, although they are fine products.

Not sure if you are looking for something similar because you don't like the real deal, but you can still buy the real SIM aftershave if that's what you are looking for.

I've been debating pulling the trigger on The Shaving Shops Emerald Moss for this reason.  I have some of there other products from the same soap maker (Soap smooth) that I really like!

I was lucky enough to be able to get some Sir Irisch Moos soap sticks and I know you can get the original AS splash but a tad pricey and hard to find locally so was looking for a comparable scent to go with the soap.

I agree with the Alpa 378 recommendation. I never had Alpa & SIM concurrently so I can't say how close they are but definitely in the same neighborhood.

David (Optometrist) pointed me in the right direction to get some SIR at a very reasonable cost and I also came across Pino Sylvestre which is about the same cost and has notes of Pine, Oakmoss woods and patchouli so was thinking maybe a bottle of each ?

Will, I'm not a huge fan of pine and sold my Pino Sylvestre fragrance, although I haven't tried the AS. I forgot about this one; it would work, though.

David,

I honestly don't need both was just going to try it but maybe I would be better off just getting the one that is matched to the soap.

That would be my recommendation, Will.

Oh man, love pine or fir scented soap but never tried an after shave so scented. I keep forgetting to get one.
