I got one a month or so back, great service by Mr. Red, 2 band finest Lotus style black and blue. The knot is nice. Could have more backbone for my liking:

Mine cost around £100 it's a 26mm 2 band finest. I requested particulars on the knot, which Michael kindly adhered to. Best option is probably email contact (michael.redondaud@gmail.com)

Thanks for this info. Definitely nice looking brushes. How is the softness and splay?

I have a 2 band finest knot. It is OK to good, no scritch or scratch. However, I find the backbone is slightly soft. I'm sure others may like the softer backbone. Splay is OK again, if the brush was set lower it would be better. This is something you could instruct Michael to do. My personal opinion is unless you want a particular handle the MS is a better deal.

I actually don't prefer strong backbone, I prefer medium and some splay. Thanks for the feedback and enjoy the beautiful brushe

Michael has recently changed supplier, and normally his new heads now have slightly more backbone. I will share my feelings once my two shaving brushes Mr. Red received.
What's MS ?

Out of interest when did this occur? The brush pictured above is only a month old at best.
