Ok so my VS 70th Anniversary balm has solidified and is swimming in its water content. Shaking it vigorously is not mixing back up. Does anyone have a good solution for this problem? Thank you; any help is appreciated.

I may have read on another forum that they had to replace some AS of 70th for some customers as one run may have had hiccups. I would send a pic via PM to DYD (Ale) on here  and tell him your situation.

Even though Sapo Var may not quite be considered an artisan, because they use big industrial machines in their production plant, this is one of the problems that we can see with products, that are not properly tested before being released.
I still love and support Sapo Vare shaving soaps, and they are triple milled. But still this is what can happen....

I surely hope this does not happen as I just ordered the soap and balm and don't plan on opening soon but when I do I don'y want a globby mess that can't be used.

I just looked at mine and sure enough it's kinda like jelly in the container and I just got this from BGS and it's not even be used yet, I gave it several good shakes of the bottle but i am thinking it's going to be tough to get out., I know it's supposed to be a balm but it's pretty solid.

Update: I followed Zaclikestoshave's suggestion and sent a PM to DYD and the problem with my balm is going to be addressed, apparently they had some problems early on but it's been addressed so he is sending me a new bottle, now that is great CS !!!

I more than likely will dump whats in the bottle now and try to reuse for another splash once the replacement gets here.

Yes, not to worry. The problem has already been address and corrected. I spoke to Ale (DYD) and confirmed this. Great guy and great company. Their soaps kick ass regardless. Love this company.

Just a heads up and big thanks to Alessandro at SV, received my replacement balm and it's perfect and actually resembles a heavy splash and the scent is wonderful, so BIG THANKS for great CS !!!!!!
