Jagdeep, the Santal is a woody oriental. The sandalwood is very subtle, but the fragrance is a wonderful (soapy/rosy/cedary) blend, imo. Skin care is excellent (witch-hazel, glycerin). Lasts longer than the typical drugstore splash (but not as tenacious as, for example, Harris Sandalwood, or, say, C&S #88.)

I haven't used it in a couple of months, but the scent profile isn't strictly sandalwood.  There's other notes in there that make it more complex and luscious.  It has decent projection and sillage.
I'm married, but the ladies in the office refer to Floris Santal as "the knicker melter". Wink
For a 'pure' sandalwood, you can't go wrong with AOS (Fine Santal is an excellent duplication).
