I have this brush in the 26x55. Next to my M&F finest 30mm this is my favorite brush. What other brushes might I like if I like these two. How is the 2 band Epsilon hair? Thanks in advance for the help.

I have the 27x50mm 2-band Epsilon.  If you like backbone and scrub, you'll like this brush.  If your primary interest is softness, the Epsilon 2-band may not be for you.

The two band Epsilon hair is excellent.  The tips are soft and the backbone is excellent.  I would go with the slightly longer loft, about 55=57mm.  The shorter loft, about 50mm, is somewhat of a lather hog and feels more stiff on the face.

If you like the Epsilon three band I would suggest the Shavemac D0-1 Three band knot.  Excellent softness but slightly more pliant than the Epsilon two-band.

I've got both Epsilon hair types. They are two of the densest and softest brushes I own. Remarkable examples of knot construction. Every bit as good as my Simpsons, Elite Razors, Shavemac, Thater and Semogue brushes. The 2band Epsilon is 27x55. It is rich with backbone. It's a very dense brush, yet flow through is more than adequate. The tips are super duper soft with zero scritch. The Epsilon 2band is as scrubby as my CH2s and CH3. The only less than stellar thing of mention is the relatively skimpy, lightweight handle. Otherwise it's a top flight brush. A number of folks have their Epsilon knots transplanted into other, groovier handles. Oh, and take a long, hard look at Elite Razors' 2 band Manchurian knots. As they say, Yowza!

None.
The Epsilon hair is better IMHO.

I love my 2 band. I do think the elite razor hmw is a bit softer tips but the Epsilon is more dense.

Declaration Brushworks has killer density. Some of the densest knots I've owned and very soft tips.

Super. If you're comparing to the Epsilon 3 band. Haven't used a Simpsons 2 band so no opinion there.
