Every brush-maker needs a jar. This one looks more Egyptian to us than Persian, so we've decided to call  it the Tut.

The handle is straight off the lathe a few hours ago. It hasn't been touched otherwise.

I like the concept.  Will these have a 24 or 26mm knot?

26 mm for sure (that's what this one is). Maybe 28 mm. Really haven't given it any thought. Ergomonics (and/or aesthetic balance) often start to suffer when we scale to 24 mm. It just isn't our sweet spot.

That's good to hear.  I'm at 26-28mm for my sweet spot.  This brush has a resemblance to the Tulip.  The T3 is a 24mm, and the T4 is a 26mm.  I definitely think it should be at least a 26mm, and 28mm would be a nice big brush.

Tulip is squat and chunky looking to me. Short like a Chubby.

This is shapely and looks taller.

I am picturing the Tut in Cobalt. Gold lettering.

At first glance, it's interesting. But I'll admit that my lotus is wonderful ergonomically - so, I'm a believer in Paladin's designs.

It's really exciting to see all the new handle designs coming from you guys.  There must be a lot of hours behind these -- shape and proportion are just great!  As always, thanks for sharing Ken.
