Hello gentlemen,

I take this opportunity to present my badger El Druida, it is my second badger in natural hair, made to order at the same time as my Mr. Red almost a year ago.

A superb manchurian badger :

The backbone is equivalent to that of my Mr. Red, see slightly higher than dry.
It could be approached to be, on the other hand, slightly less mild to dry.

It is in my eyes an excellent badger or javier knew in his realization to care for the detail.

Knot 25mm / 50mm. What do you think ?

I like the integrated screw between the two resins.

The starting project with El Druida was to produce a wooden handle with two components. At the last moment, I preferred to evolve the project, and this resulted in this very pretty badger.

Today, I am launching two new badger projects with Mr. Red and for this purpose, I'm separating myself from this pretty badger as well as from my first Mr. Red.

I found it interesting to share these two achievements here, it can sometimes give us all ideas for future customization projects.

What is your opinion as well as others about El Druida manchurian knot 24 and 26. As well as compared to other knots. Simpson, Romera, Shavemac, Thater etc. I would love to get opinions.

Thanks

What is your experience with the quality of the finish and the contrast between your  description and what you got?

Bijou, I sent my knot to be installed so I can't help you with that.

To answer you, as regards the handle, I was very happy from the start because it is exactly the form I wanted, I gave him ratings, I was not necessarily to the millimeter ready. What matters to me is that the shape of the handle is convenient to use and it corresponds to the idea that I had of it.

Regarding the knot, I was a beginner when I ordered El Druida and my Mr. Red. I had until now only synthetic brushes (plying, life-long) and pig. I did not have many requirements at the time, but what I can say is that at almost equivalent backbone (slightly higher for the Manchurian El Druida), Mr. Red is slightly softer to dry.

I do not want to try the big brands, since I am already very satisfied by this type of craftsmen. I do not see the interest of going to buy the double (M & F, shavemac ....) or triple in a badger or I will not necessarily be able to make a difference when shaving.

I do not have a particularly sensitive skin and therefore I am already very happy with the types of knots in my possession.
