I don't have or care for any artisan brands and my favorite hasn't been made for decades ( Yardley  ). 
Everything else I have is tied for second though from one day to the next I'll prefer one or the other.

I avoided artisan for years.
Did not fancy the whole 'made in our private kitchen alongside our dinner du jour, Spaghetti Bolognese with extra cheese' thing.

Finally embraced and accepted the artisans. Though still not a fan of the whole kitchen made thing

Would like to hear your HONEST thoughts on artisans in general and why you have decided to avoid them.
