I bought a 5 pack of 7 O'clock yellows, and greens, in an ebay auction for cheap, with free shipping, and a bonus Astra Sp. The yellows were great, the Astra was too. I bought a tuck of 100 Astras  I liked them so much. I'm mostly a Feather or Gillette Swede user. I've added other contenders to the mix, the blue platinum, and blue box Gillette Blue, the Nacet as well. Great times to be wet shaving. A far cry from 1963 when I began with Gillette carbon steel Blue Blades.

Astras remain atop my blade list.  They just work in so many of my razors.

Those Derby blades are a match made in heaven for a 7 ounce can of Edge Extra Protection Shave Gel.

Personna Platinum Chrome (aka Israeli Red). I like them as much as Astra in my R89 and even more than Astra in my NewLC

Astra Super Stainless > Astra Super Platinum.   I never use Astra Razor Blades, anymore, but, I love them, because, it was on this blade I first figured out I dislike platinum blades.  I tried a few others, just to be sure, but these are the ones that first tipped me off.

Lately, I have been using Personna Stainless Blades.   The ones that come five to a pack/tuck, in a white plastic container.  The Personna Platinum Chrome coated razor blades felt scratchy, on my skin.

They are fairly inexpensive, as are all DE blades.  2.00 USD for a package/tuck of five blades, or, I have seen them for 17.00 US, for a box of 100, without the plastic case.

I may order one of the boxes, the next time I need blades.
